Proposed Management Agreement Extension
Beachfront Caravan Park Pty Ltd are the current managers of the Noosa North Shore Beach
Campground and have been managing the campground since 1 August 2012. Pursuant to the
management agreement, the second one year option is due to expire 31 July 2017.
The campground redevelopment is now scheduled to commence after the Easter period in 2018
to allow sufficient time to obtain the necessary development approval for the site (relating to an
extension of the camping reserve to the south) and completion of detailed design and time for
procurement. It is proposed that the current management agreement be extended to allow
campground operations to continue in the interim.
Accordingly, this report seeks Council approval to extend the current management agreement for
a further 10 months commencing 1 August 2017. The incumbent has satisfactorily discharged its
obligations in relation to the current agreement to date.
