Policy and Legislative Considerations
Under Section 236 (1) (b) (ii) of the Local Government Regulation 2012, Council is not required to
tender for the leasing of the property as the purpose of renewal of the lease is to a community
organisation. The requirements of this exception are that a relevant Council resolution is first
obtained.

Nil.
Finance & Risk
As per Council’s General Cost Recovery Fees and Commercial Charges schedule, the Kin Kin
Community Group Inc. will be charged an annual rental of one unit which for the 2016/2017
financial year is $242.73 exclusive of GST.
