Extensive cut and fill earthworks are proposed, primarily to fill flood affected land to create
Precinct 2. Engineering plans indicate a total fill volume of roughly 149,000m 3, with the material
to be excavated primarily from a ridgeline adjacent the lake in Precinct 1 and from a number of
areas within Precinct 3. The plan below indicates the areas of cut (shown as warm colours) and
fill (shown as cool colours) and is included at A3 size as Attachment 3.
