g) Post-Incident Review and Follow-Up
• Incident Debriefing and Analysis:
o After each emergency or significant incident, the hotel will conduct a debriefing
session involving all staff who were present. The session will review the
response, identify areas for improvement, and update procedures if necessary.
o A report summarizing the incident, actions taken, and recommendations for
future improvements will be prepared by management. These reports will be
reviewed during monthly safety meetings to ensure that lessons learned are
incorporated into ongoing training and policy updates.
• Community and Stakeholder Engagement:
o For incidents impacting the surrounding community, the hotel will proactively
engage with neighbours and local authorities, providing information on the
actions taken and any changes implemented to prevent recurrence. This
transparent approach builds trust and demonstrates the hotel’s commitment to
maintaining a safe environment for all stakeholders.
This comprehensive emergency and incident management plan ensures that the hotel is
prepared for a wide range of potential emergencies, aligns with regulatory requirements, and
prioritizes the safety and security of patrons, staff, and the surrounding community.
