Plan and Health and Wellbeing Plan
2 Undertake pre-feasibility study for a Regional Art Gallery Director Community Services Analysis of current Regional Gallery complete. Brief for consultant drafted. On track QO
ITQ seeking suitable contractor to undertake first stages of Pre-Feasibility
Study released in February. Submission received was unsuccessful. ITQ
released for second round and closed in April. Contract awarded in June
2020.
3 Complete a major refurbishment of the Noosa Aquatic Community Facilities Manager Refurbishment of Noosa Aquatic Centre complete and centre re-opened to Completed Qo
Centre public.
4 Commence construction of the new Peregian Beach Director Community Services Tender contract awarded and car park completed. Successful contractor has Behind Schedule @
Community House entered liquidation which will trigger the need to re-tender the works and will
also cause project delays. ITQ process complete and architect secured to
complete design works. Design process complete.
5 Complete Stage 1 of the Noosa North Shore Director Corporate Services Redevelopment completed. Completed Q
Campground redevelopment
6 Review options for mobile/ outreach library services Libraries & Galleries Manager Options for replacement scoped and assessed. Report to be considered by On track Q
new Council in August/September 2020.
7 Adoption of Master Plans for the Noosa District Sports Community Development Manager Plans adopted by Council January 2020. Commenced preliminary design Completed Qo
Complex and the Cooroy Sports Complex work for Noosa District Sports Complex.
8 Complete replacement of the Noosa Botanic Gardens Director Infrastructure Services Shade House was opened in February 2020. Completed Qo
