Infrastructure Services Report
Noosa Marketplace Development, 2 - 20 Hofmann Dr, Noosaville
4 Development Infrastructure
4.1 Drainage Infrastructure
The Noosa Council is the responsible authority for drainage facilities for the site. The lawful point of discharge
for the site is the 4 1200 mm x 600 mm RCBCs under Hofmann Road, located adjacent to the South East
boundary on Lot AB SP222982. Flows leaving the site will drain south along the eastern side of the site into
these pipes. Existing site drainage is shown in Figure 4-1. It is noted that the 1200 mm X 300 mm RCBC is
not shown in the Noosa Council Mapping.

Increases in impervious area within the proposed development have resulted in an increase in local catchment
stormwater discharges. A rainwater detention tank of minimum volume 1,400m3 is proposed to maintain peak
stormwater discharges to values equal to or less than existing conditions.
The proposed stormwater quality treatment for the site consists of Ocean Guards (OG) on all inlets, bio-
retention treatment systems and three rainwater tanks of 50kL, 50kL and 10kL respectively in volume. Refer
to the Integrated Water Management Plan by Cardno report for details.
