INFRASTRUCTURE & SERVICES COMMITTEE MEETING AGENDA 23 JUNE 2015

Inadequate storage is an ongoing issue for the Gallery, both in terms of storing touring exhibition
crates and works and appropriately storing the corporate art collection.

The review of the Cooroy Butter Factory has been completed with Council endorsing a shift to a
community management model. To finalise this transition Council staff are working with the
Cooroy Lower Mill Board to develop a Butter Factory business plan. A first draft of this plan is
due for completion by the end of July 2015.

5.       Upcoming Priorities

The upcoming priorities of the Galleries team include:
 Delivery of the Floating Land 2015 exhibitions and events;
 Transition of the Butter Factory from Council operation to community operation under the
   Cooroy Lower Mill Board;
 Completion of the Gallery website; and
 Review of the Sunshine Coast Council Public Art Policy and its application to Noosa Council.
