experience stints.

● Connor Mulville (15y/o work exp)
● Connor Middleton (17y/o mentoring)
● Eamon Kriz (17 y/o mentoring)
● George Gleeson (15y/o mentoring)

Holiday Camps
The Hub was a hive of educational activity through January 2019 with its holiday program for
young inventors. A four-day Summer Drone Camp taught teenage techies how to build and race
drones while the two day Micro-Machines Workshop taught 9-13 year olds how to invent with
micro-controllers.
The holiday courses were taught by four of the Noosa community’s most promising technology
prodigies with minimal involvement from adults. Two Year 12 students that are being mentored at
the Hub, created an intensive 4-day program in which 10 students learned the engineering
principles of FPV (first person view) drones before racing for prizes at the Noosa Leisure Centre.
Two local Year 11 students used the knowledge gained through their school robotics club to
design workshops which had their class of 17 focused youngsters inventing their own devices.
