PLANNING & ENVIRONMENT COMMITTEE MEETING AGENDA 8 DECEMBER 2020
Forty four carparking spaces are proposed to the rear of the site and within the total are 4 covered
spaces for the residential units. Commercial waste storage and collection and general delivery
areas are to the rear of the larger tenancy and 1 staff car park. A separate residential waste area
is provided near the stair access to the units. Landscaping is proposed to the perimeter of the
carparking area and between centre parking.
Some of the landscaped areas consist of swales and biopods for water quality treatment. The
proposal includes rainwater harvesting to assist in achieving detention requirements of the relevant
standards.
The proposal is required to be assessed against The Noosa Plan 2006 (June 2018), now being
the superseded planning scheme. The application is before Council as the proposed uses are
identified as inconsistent uses under the superseded planning scheme.
Figures 1, 2, 3, and 4 below provide a site plan, floor plan and perspectives of the proposal.
