                              STORMWATER MANAGEMENT PLAN

1.0 INTRODUCTION
This Stormwater Management Plan (SMP) contains information regarding the stormwater
management strategies for a proposed Highway Service Centre, including a fast food outlet at
Taylor Court, Cooroy. This report refers to the stormwater quality and quantity treatment measures
proposed of the site in its entirety.

The site is identified to be located within the catchment area for Lake Macdonald. The application
has previously been assessed against Seqwater Development Guidelines: Development
Guidelines for Water Quality Management in Drinking Water Catchments. Third party advice from
Seqwater (ref CE:DB F.16/3997) requested further detail in relation to the Water Quality
Objectives and the annual rainfall used for water quality modelling.

Noosa Shire Council (NSC) requires that stormwater be appropriately managed prior to discharge
from the site. The Queensland State Planning Policy (2014) and Seqwater Development
Guidelines also requires that urban development projects demonstrate how the potential impacts
to receiving environments are mitigated.

2.0 SITE DESCRIPTION
2.1 Site Location

The site is located at 6 Taylor Court, Cooroy. The real property description is Lot 3 on SP197517
(Figure 1). The site is bounded by vacant land to the west and south, Taylor Court exists to the
east and Holts Road and the Bruce Highway to the north (Figure 2). The site is adjacent to the
newly upgraded section of the Bruce Highway.
