3.5 SUMMARY OF ODOUR IMPACT ASSESSMENT

The results of the detailed odour modelling indicate that the proposed eight shed
poultry farm can be operated in compliance with the relevant odour guideline and
thus not cause unreasonable amenity impacts at surrounding sensitive receptors.

In order to minimise odour emissions, the poultry farm should be designed,
constructed and operated in accordance with industry best-practice standards.

On the basis of the assessment conducted, it is recommended that the proposed
development be approved with reasonable and relevant conditions in relation to
odour amenity impacts as would be expected for any development of this nature.
