3.2 SURROUNDING LAND USES
The subject site is located on the eastern fringe of the Tewantin & Doonan locality. The site is located within
a block of low density detached housing located on the western bank of the Noosa River. Surrounding low
density development primarily consists of conventional sized residential allotments. Some higher density
residential uses are located on the western side of Tait Street. Goods and services are provided for the local
community via a business centre situated approximately 1km south of the subject site.

Land uses immediately surrounding the subject site include:

North – Detached house

South – Detached housing

East – Noosa River

West – Detached house
