Based on the number of caravan parks, campsites and holiday/tourist parks proximate to the
Subject Site, this assessment has assumed that 5% of the total relevant fleet for the car wash facility
represents non-trade area vehicles. Non-trade area demand is projected to increase from 562
vehicles in 2021 to 651 vehicles in 2031, which represents less than two non-trade area vehicles per
day utilising the car wash facility.
Based on the above assumptions, the total relevant fleet for the proposed car wash facility is
anticipated to increase from 11,516 vehicles in 2021 to 13,344 vehicles in 2031, as summarised in
Table 6-7.
