Traffic Impact Statement
51 Elanda Street TIS 2024-11-25 Furniture The development scheme consists of 6 units and it is anticipated that these units will have a low turnover rate. It is expected that the average occupancy rate will be 3 years. This assumption is considered to be reflective of similar properties within the area being owned for significant periods of time and an absence of properties being taken to the market. Based on this, the expected service vehicle movements (based on 6 units) will be approximately 2 movements per year. It is also expected that residents will occasionally have furniture delivered. To account for this, a delivery rate of 1 delivery per 2 units has been assumed. This equates to 3 deliveries each year. The total impact of residential turnover and large deliveries will be 5 vehicle movements per year, approximately 1 every 2-3 months. Sufficient on-street parking opportunities are available to accommodate for service vehicle needs. On-street parking is used for servicing provisions of the majority of surrounding developments as illustrated in Figure 5.1.
