4.1.4 Vehicular Access behind Big W
The widening of the existing path from the south west corner of the Big W building around
to the south east corner is needed to provide through vehicular access from Hofmann
Drive around to the car park in the north east.


This would require an extra one metre of concrete and the removal of unwanted bollards
and awning structures. (see Photograph No. 6) This would fall into routine maintenance
and would not require Council approval.


Actions 4.1.1, 4.1.2 and 4.1.4 should be completed as soon as practical.


Budget:-
       4.1.1 $12,000
       4.1.2 $8,000
       4.1.4 $30,000+ This requires quotes to firm the required exact budget.


Project 4.1.3 should be investigated in 2019 and the success of all other actions will
dictate the need and timing of this track construction.


Budget:-
       Investigation $1,500
       Construction $8,000-$10,000


4.2 Fire Line Construction and Vegetation Management
4.2.1 Access from Hofmann Drive to Walter Hay Drive
Understorey vegetation and dead dangerous trees should be removed on the southern
side of this 4 metre widened access to a total width of 10 metres including the track.


The northern side should be managed to allow a safe lighting line for the fuel reduction
burns in Unit 1 and 2 on Aerial Photograph No. 3.
