Response to Information Request
Attached to the e-mail FW MCU220086 - Council information request.msg.
Response: Please refer to the attached Document – RPEQ Response to Information Request – for the engineer’s response to the above items. Please also refer to the submitted Residential Driveway Design Plans which are referenced throughout the response. RFI ITEM: Council have identified an approximate 2 metre height difference across the frontage at the proposed driveway crossover location in the road reserve. Council are concerned how the construction of the proposed driveway crossover will affect the existing slope stability conditions and potentially create hazards within the road reserve. 2. Provide additional detail demonstrating how the construction of the proposed driveway crossover will not create worsening slope stability conditions and avoid the potential creation of hazards within the road reserve. Please note that Council are unlikely to support privately owned retaining structures within the road reserve. Response: Please refer to the attached Document – RPEQ Response to Information Request – for the engineer’s response. Please also refer to the submitted Residential Driveway Design Plans (specifically CGC- SR-2022-011-R02-Rev01) which is referenced. 3. Provide sufficient detail (sight lines, etc) the demonstrates that the crossover location complies generally with Council’s standard drawing RS-056. Response: Please refer to the attached Document – RPEQ Response to Information Request – for the engineer’s response to the above item. RFI ITEM: Black Pinch Road is a predominately unsealed road with landslide issues in some locations. Given the topography of the subject site and access road, Council have concerns regarding the process of moving and installing the proposed relocated residence and what effects this procedure may have on the existing conditions on Black Pinch Road. 4. Provide a preliminary plan demonstrating the proposed path the house removal company will take during delivery. The plan must indicate any potential hazards (overhead powerlines, existing trees, road conditions etc) and remedies to avoid these hazards. Response A Transport Management plan has been prepared by Queensland House Removers which provides a detailed outline of the proposed path the removal dwelling will take during transportation to 411 Black Pinch Road, Cootharaba.
