Appendix E - Construction Management Plan
SUNSHINE RESIDENCES
65-67 Elanda St, Sunshine Beach
ii. SITE INDUCTIONS
All workers and visitors to site will be inducted prior to entering the site via Hammertech in accordance with
the BBN Constructions requirements. All visitors to site will be required to report to the site manager for
signing in and induction as necessary.
iii. OPERATING HOURS
The project site hours of operation are envisaged to be Monday - Saturday 7:00am – 6:00pm.
There will be no planned works on Sunday and Public Holidays however, if necessary, hours of operation will
be 8am – 4pm and approval will be obtained from Council.
iv. AMENITIES
BBN Constructions will establish the site amenities within a secured safe area away from public.
All amenities will be connected to services as soon as they become available in accordance with regulations
& maintained in a hygienic condition in accordance with Compliance Code for Workplace Amenities and
Work Environment.
v. SITE SECURITY
Access into the site will be via the designated vehicle access gates from Elanda St, all designated vehicle
access points shall be secured during times when the site is not in operation. (refer Site Establishment Plan)
The use of alternative security measures (if required) shall continually be assessed through the project.
vi. TRAFFIC CONTROL FOR CONSTRUCTION WORKS
BBN Constructions will prepare traffic management plans to cater for cranage, and concrete pumping /
pours and employ these where construction vehicles manoeuvre on Elanda Street and restrict vehicle or
pedestrian traffic, or are entering and exiting the site, to ensure the safety of the public.
Materials handlings, and concrete pumping operations will be conducted within the BBN Constructions site.
If offsite access is needed a Traffic management plan will be used to ensure public safety at all times.
vii. CONSTRUCTION PHASE CAR PARKING
Construction Phase Car Parking will take place legally on street in accordance with relevant regulatory bodies
& state regulations and clearways as indicated.
4. IDENTIFICATION & PROTECTION OF EXISTING INFRASTRUCTURE
AND UTILITY SERVICES
To avoid damage to, or unplanned interruption of, utility services BBN Constructions propose to:
• Site induction to address location of and protective measures for, utility services.
• Identify, mark and protect utility services (electricity, water, gas etc).
• Ensure all necessary interruptions to utility services are planned and communicated to all
