         •       Contact telephone numbers for emergency services for utilities are established and readily
                 available.
         •       Overhead protection warning is provided to high loads, vehicles, cranes etc.
         •       Spotters are provided when work is undertaken beneath overhead power lines.
         •       Relevant Authorities are notified, required permits are obtained and affected line users are
                 advised of when planned interruptions to utility services will occur.


    5.       ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT - EROSION AND SEDIMENT
             CONTROL
The Environmental Management of the site will be conducted in accordance with BBN Constructions
Environmental Management Plan and project documentation.

Implementation of erosion and sediment controls will be carried out in accordance with the RECOR Civil
Engineering plans C045 Erosion and Sediment Control Plan
Environmental Risk Register identifies and provides for the control of all Environmental Aspects including the
management of waste, dust, noise, mud, stormwater, vegetation, hazardous contaminants, heritage
overlays relevant to the construction site.

BBN Constructions will ensure that vehicles from construction site do not deposit mud or other materials on
roadways.

Any mud or other materials deposited on roadways will be cleaned to relevant Authority Standards.


    6.       WASTE MANAGEMENT
BBN Constructions will engage a specialist waste removal company to dispose all construction waste from
site. As part of their service, all waste collected from site is sorted and recycled. General Waste Bins with
lids will be provided for disposal of food scraps, cans and paper.

BBN Constructions shall employ construction techniques that will produce minimum amount of waste and
whenever possible, reusing the waste produced during construction stages and subcontracts will be let in a
manner to minimise onsite waste, i.e. by offsite fabrication where possible and modular construction.


    7.       NOISE AND VIBRATION
Noise generated during works will be controlled and minimised to avoid environmental nuisance caused by
“unreasonable” levels of noise. It is proposed to:
        •      Conduct site inductions to address the issue of noise and protective measures to prevent
               “unreasonable” noise caused by construction activities.
        •      All reasonable measures to limit noise emissions in accordance with Local Council
               restrictions and controls (Noise.)
        •      Each item of plant is fitted with effective noise suppression devices (generally exhaust
               mufflers) as applicable.
        •      All plant, equipment and machinery is operated and maintained in accordance with
               acceptable industry standards.
        •      When construction work is permitted outside of designated hours, notice is given to
               occupiers of properties within the immediate precinct of the works giving details of the work
