Flood Levels at the Site
The flood levels likely to be reached on site are summarised in Table A-1. These have been sourced from the
Noosa Flood Study (2013) (referred to in Table A-1 as the Model) which was prepared by WMA Water,
documented in the WMA Water Report “Noosa River Flood Study Upgrade Volume 4 Design Event Modelling
Report Final” March 2017 and supplied to us by Noosa Council, except for the flood certificate level, also
supplied by the Noosa Council, which is included for comparison. The results indicate that there is a significant
difference (almost 0.7m) between the ‘current conditions’ 1% AEP flood level and the 2100 climate change
conditions 1% AEP flood level provided on the flood certificate.
