Cooroy Hinterland Park Flood Assessment


The two proposed carparking areas have been incorporated into the model based on design
surface information provided by Noosa Council (design surface provided as dwg file on 16/8/19).
The extent of the carpark design surface is shown on Image 4-2.

The Manning’s ‘n’ hydraulic roughness value for the park has been increased to 0.12 to reflect the
increased hydraulic roughness associated with the proposed park. The exception to this is the
open space area in the north-west of the site that has been set at 0.06 as per the existing site. The
carpark areas have been assigned an ‘n’ value of 0.02.
