         The proposed covered parking areas over the upper level carpark provides for 61 covered spaces.
         The covered parking is provided by way of 40 x 100kw solar panels forming a roof over these
         carparks as shown in Figure 8, below. Further, the Resort Complex will also include four vehicle
         charging stations within the undercover parking area. It is also intended to provide about 10
         electric bikes for the use of patrons attending the Resort Complex.

         Having regard to the SDR and the overall outcomes under the Sustainable Building Design Code,
         the following comments are made:
             a) the proposed development has been located, designed, and will be constructed and
                 operated in accordance with best sustainable design principles (OO(a));
             b) the development does respond to the site’s topography, orientation, prevailing winds, and
                 existing vegetation to the extent identified in this report (OO(b));
             c) the proposed development will incorporate water sensitive urban design principles to
                 manage stormwater (OO)(c));
             d) the design of the proposed development includes passive design elements to respond to
                 the local climate (OO(d));
             e) the proposed development will minimise the reliance on non-renewable resources
                 (OO)(e));
             f) the proposed Resort Complex has been designed and will be constructed to be energy
                 and water efficient as possible (OO(f));
             g) the proposed development includes operational initiatives for energy efficiency (OO(g));
             h) where possible existing vegetation is being retained to create shade and cooling on site
                 (OO(h));
             i) stormwater harvesting is to occur by providing a 135kl of water to be used for maintaining
                 the lagoon pool (OO(i)); and
             j) the project architect has confirmed that healthy indoor environments will be provided by
                 incorporating the use of low toxic materials, natural light, and cross ventilation (OO(j)).
