INFRASTRUCTURE & SERVICES COMMITTEE MEETING AGENDA                                       8 DECEMBER 2015


In developing the implementation plan, Council will need to carefully consider how it currently funds
and prioritises its current community initiatives and whether to allocate additional resources to
facilitate and develop key partnerships and strategic alliances within the region, and/or funds for
program delivery in certain key strategic areas of high need. This will be undertaken as part of the
annual budget development process.

Costings for all new initiatives will be included in the implementation plan to be brought to Council
for consideration in 2016.

Consultation

External Consultation - Community & Stakeholder

In addition to the general engagement techniques used, two targeted workshops were held, viz:
 State Government - An invitation was sent to the Sunshine Coast Region Regional Managers
 Community Stakeholder – An invitation was sent to approximately 70 key service
    providers/individuals.
