ORGANISATION PERFORMANCE COMMITTEE RECOMMENDATION

That Council:

(a) seek external expressions of interest for the design of a new brand for the Sunshine
        Coast Regional Council;

(b) require such expressions of interest to specifically include a high degree of
        Councillors, community and staff involvement in the development of the brand as
        detailed in Option 4 of this report;

(c) request staff to bring back a further report that makes recommendations regarding
        implementation of the new brand including:

        (i)     timing for the launch;

        (ii) whether or not the word ‘regional’ is to be used in the Council’s name; and

        (iii) how business units should be branded.

Item 4.2.2 referred to the General Committee Meeting to be held on Monday, 29
