GENERAL COMMITTEE MEETING AGENDA 18 APRIL 2017
Development of a draft business plan
As well as developing the Programme of Works, the CMHA has been discussing and refining a
draft business plan for the future operations of the Cooroy Memorial Hall with the Libraries and
Galleries Manager (refer Attachment 3). The business plan will be finalised over the building
phase of the project.
Proposed tenure arrangements with the CMHA
Based on the CMHA’s incorporation and their submission of a project plan for repairs to the Hall
and a draft business plan for the future operations of the Hall it is recommended that Council
enter into an agreement to lease the Cooroy Memorial Hall with the CMHA for the purpose of
undertaking the schedule of maintenance and upgrade works as per Attachment 1.
Subject to the CMHA satisfactorily completing the maintenance and upgrade works Council can
then enter into a five year lease for the CMHA to manage and operate the Cooroy Memorial Hall.
The terms and conditions of the lease being similar to other community hall lease arrangements.
