       2.3       Geology

       Reference to Queensland Department of Mines and Energy’s 1:100,000 Gympie Special sheet indicates that
       the site is mapped in an area of Quaternary Parabolic Dunes (comprising quartz sand) and Estuarine
       Deposits (comprising sandy mud, muddy sand and minor gravel), overlying Tiaro Coal Measures (comprising
       lithofeldspathic labile and sublabile to quartzose sandstone, siltstone, shale and coal with a ferruginous oolite
       marker bed).
