Yep. Okay, so the report advises that appeal been lodged against the decision made by Council to refuse the development application for Material Change of Use for short-term accommodation at 94 and 142 Noosa Drive Noosa Heads. The application involved eight separate buildings comprising 15 two-storey dwelling units. There were additional car parks. All buildings were going to be elevated structures. The buildings were connected by a timber boardwalk and the development was going to result in the removal of a minimum of 71 potentially 82 native trees with a minimum of 27 co-op being koala food trees and potentially up to 33 koala food trees being removed. And it was refused due to the unacceptable loss of vegetation, the proposed development being an overdevelopment of the land at the expense of the site's natural values, non-compliance with the Noosa Plan requirements for the development within the environment. Management and conservation zone, stormwater and drainage and development outside of the urban boundary. The matter is in order for Council to defend.
